15th October 2005 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: f5-6 Surf / Sea State: wind chop Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wow what a day! . It all made up for the nightmare journey down on Friday when I ran over something on the motorway which resulted in very fast deflating tyre that couldn't be repaired. fully powered on on 6.3 (bit over at times) planning gybes at both ends, huge long runs. Helped to waterstart a catameran The person sailing it was having a spot of bother and about to get washed up on the shore It was a bit like waterstarting mast 90degrees to the wind and lift ( while 2 others hanging on theother side to pull it all up and over!) |
